Police on Virgin Gorda are investigating a complaint that one of their officers assaulted a 16-year-old boy in which the minor was beaten and bitten by one of the officers.

+ Online registration now open for Youth Unemployment Register
The Ministry of Education and Culture is inviting unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 30 years to register online with the Youth Unemployment Register (YUR) at “www.yur.vg” by Monday, December 12.

+ Nine students complete advanced certification in compliance
H. Lavity Stoutt Community College handed out certificates to nine students who recently successfully completed the International Advanced Certificate in Compliance and Financial Crime, during a brief presentation ceremony on Wednesday 30 November at the Centre for Applied Marine Studies, Paraquita Bay.
