The LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress n the occasion of The World Youth Conference 2010.

On the occasion of The World Youth Conference 2010, International Year of Youth and Mexico’s 200 Anniversary of its Independence and Revolution, the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress invites parliamentarians from all over the world to participate in the first World Parliamentary Forum on Youth 2010 (WPF2010).

World Parliamentary Forum on Youth will gather members from various National Congresses to generate legislative recommendations, to drive forward the youth agenda, to integrate the theme of youth into aspects of regional legislation and to reflect on the realities facing the world’s youth population.

The Commission of Youth and Sports of the LXI Legislature is in charge of the organization of the Parliamentary Forum. The Forum will take place in Mexico City form August 25-27, at San Lazaro Legislative Palace, Lower House of the Mexican Congress.

Registration to the WPF2010 is open for two parliamentarians per country. Presidents of National Parliaments will have the necessary usernames and passwords for the selected parliamentarians to login and register as delegates to the Forum.
