Today being the International Volunteer’s Day offers the opportunity to celebrate the effort and time that is given by volunteers towards the betterment of the less fortunate. The World Assembly of Youth being the coordinating organ of National Youth Councils would like to extend it appreciation and gratitude to its team of young energetic and ever active volunteers who tirelessly strive to make a difference to the less fortunate.

With the present change in global politics and economic crisis never has the time been ripe for which volunteerism is needed. The different skill, talents and mind-sets that are brought to the table by volunteers provide a wealth of information that can be harnessed towards the alleviation of the current crisis.

As a sign of appreciation and admiration for the effort, time and skills provided by our volunteers, we would like to thank all our volunteers for there continued support as we endeavor in meeting our goals of educating the youth worldwide.
