Vanguardia Iberoamericana 2009, Estoril (Portugal) PDF Print E-mail
Vanguardia Iberoamericana is an innovative Forum that looks to reinforce networks and ties through an annual meeting.

It provides an opportunity for young university students to exchange ideas regarding current and emerging issues at the regional, national and global level. In addition, this Forum will contribute to the development and consolidation of networks of youth leaders so they can elaborate joint proposals and strategies for action.

UNESCO, through the Section for Youth, Sport and Physical Education, has collaborated in this project the last three years. For this reason, the Section for Youth is selecting outstanding young students to attend Vanguardia Iberoamericana 2009, the theme of which will be “Innovation and Knowledge: Youth Vision”. The Forum will take place from the 25 to the 28 November in Estoril, Portugal, prior to the XIX Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State (see program, attached).
