The Right to Information in Latin America PDF Print E-mail
The UNESCO Office in Quito has released a legal study on the right to information in Latin America, comparing the existing laws in 11 Latin American countries: Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Uruguay. Conducted by Toby Mendel, this study confirms the commitment of UNESCO in promoting the right to information, consistent with its strategic goal of strengthening universal access to information and knowledge.
