60 years in the life of an International NGO is in itself an achievement.For an individual, it is already the start of retirement, but for WAY, it is proof, beyond any doubt, that WAY has played a significant role up to now.

And in future, especially with all the unprecedented and unpredictable problems the world is facing, WAY has no alternative than to re-invent itself to face even greater challenges, counting, of course, on the unflinching support of its members and friendly organizations.

In the context of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of WAY , we would like to call upon any one that can assist in the following:

1. To identify and locate any founding member of WAY.

2. To identify and locate any former leading figures, Bureau and Executive Committee members of WAY since 1949 to-date.

3. To send any publications, articles, press releases, posters, literature, photographs and other documents/materials likely to reflect on WAY 60 years of existence.

4. Any useful suggestion on celebrating WAY 60 in a very remarkable manner.

A WAY 60TH Anniversary is under formation and will soon issue continuous updates with guidelines on the development of the preparation of the celebrations.
