The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe is happy to announce the Global Education Week (GEW) happening from November 15 to November 23. The GEW encourages all interested constituencies to implement global education awareness-raising activities in their professional background. For your guidance, we invite you to access the North-South Centre special webpage dedicated to the Global Education Week.

You will find  on this webpage useful information about the GE concept  and reference documents,   GE resources,    useful links to similar GE international initiatives, as well as tips to start an activity in your  educational or training setting.

Should you want to know what is being done in your country in this field, or share with us your initiative, do not hesitate to contact the GEW network national contact for your country, whose name and contacts are also on the GEW webpage.

The GEW should be seen as a kick-off event to encourage GE awareness-raising activities and projects all year round! 

You can be kept informed about GE reality and events all year round through the Global Education newsletter .

You will find available on the GEW webpage, for dissemination among your friends and/or networks, a bilingual informative leaflet on GEW, logo and press clip.
