Dear Colleagues: as many of you already know, we plan to submit a project to: Co-operation with countries other than the neighbouring countries of the European Union Youth in Action Programme Action 3.2. Part of the idea that young people's access to information suited to their interests and communication services which will promote their participation in public life and the expression of their capabilities as active and responsible citizens, encourages us to prepare this project for young Latinámericans and young in Europe.
The project intends:
- Analyse the obstacles that prevent or hinder access of young people with fewer opportunities to information services for young people. - Promote innovative actions for information made by young people and for young people and especially those who encourage young people with fewer opportunities and promote their participation. - From the contrast of experiences, to determine the most appropriate means for young people to improve the quality of information. - To develop the skills of youth to become autonomous users, and critical goals of the information. - Determine which information must be seen as a priority to promote the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. - Encourage measures to promote the involvement of youth in the preparation and information products suited to recipients specifics especially to sensuously disabled young. - Establishment of an information network for young people and by young people that promotes understanding, and mutual understanding between young Latinámerica and Europe. This part of a methodology in which prime practice on the outcome, which is prime and consider the development of all groups as priority, with a continuous assessment and participatory. In this project we contemplate the following activities:
A seminar for the exchange of good practices in Youth information as a strategy for inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities. It will be performed in Murcia (Spain) An exchange of Young on the subject of youth information as a strategy for inclusion of youth to be held in Cuenca (Ecuador) An exchange of Youth on the impact of the media in the transmission of values and intercultural including young to be held in Turin (Italy) A seminar evaluation of the activities carried out (no specific place) A publication on all the activities, findings, conclusions and projects and networks created. In this project the profile of the participants are young people and young disabled without sensory abilities. Animators and trainers and politicians of youth councils and organisations. We need to receive from each partner organisation, an agreement from its municipality and an agreement from an association which has established a co-operation with disabled people .
