The bond between new generations and the world of work has been –since almost always- a reason for preoccupation to public politics, but the dynamics generated in this sense, have been referred to the needs of the productive system particularly and of the economic development in general. Only exceptionally, this bonds have been analyzed by young people, trying to unravel the keys and the complexities, the way that are lived by their main protagonists.

Because of this, from this section of the Portal, we hope to be able to transmit informations and analysis that allow to compensate this historical and structural lagoons, generating and spreading the information and the knowledge that let us get closer to the analysis of this complex bond, from the logic of young men and women. For this, we will try to count on their own opinions and points of view, resorting to surveys of public opinion and organized pronouncements (from unionists or micro industrialists young men, for example) in order to achieve the proposed goal.

From this point of view, it will be particularly important to analyze the different configurations of the juvenile imaginary on this subjects, trying to unravel the diverse logics with which this processes are observed. In this sense, will be important to have the opinion of industrialists and union leaders (adults) and also with the point of view of governmental authorities related to this dynamics, as well as the judgment of academics and specialists dedicated to this topics.

In any case, it’s about working on the bases of prioritize people and not markets, trying to unravel the perspectives and possibilities that can go opening in order to achieve a more fluid and constructive bond among working young men (dependant and independent) with the world of work, assuming that the deep transformations that are producing on this level, are not neutral, far from it and –on the contrary- have a strong impact on the daily life of young men and women.
