Cole Bay, St. Maarten: The Evangelical Association of the Caribbean has taken a huge step forward in developing a Caribbean Youth Network. Youth leaders representing EAC member-bodies from around the region gathered in Cole Bay, St. Maarten to discuss the need, seek the guidance of God together, and plan the next steps. Throughout the meeting May 17-18, 2007 there was a sense of synergy, God’s presence and His timing.

Jamaica East And West Districts
The Vision Retreat Centre, which is located in a quiet, residential community of Mandeville was not the same for the weekend of March 9 to 11, 2007. From as early as 7:00 p.m. enthusiastic and energetic N.Y.I. leaders from Jamaica East and West Districts started occupying the centre in anticipation of the experiences what was awaiting them at Leadership Training Seminar 2007.The aroma from the kitchen created by the very efficient Mr. Jackson, from the Boulevard Church of the Nazarene and Mr. Horace Perkins, Manager of the centre, embraced us as we entered. That was an indication of great things to come.

Kingston, Jamaica - Created and coordinated by Nazarene young people in Jamaica, the Elasha Ministry group is reaching new demographics with a passion to draw people into a relationship with Jesus.

During March 16- 17 Puerto Rico NYI West District Celebrated their Convention. With us celebrating and training at the Convention was our Global President and Caribbean NYI Regional Coordinator Rev. Monte Cyr. It was a wonderful time where we learned what the NYI truly is.

We are the Latin American Inter religious Network of the World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP), formed by representatives of organizations related to young people and Latin American catholic students, protestants, evangelical, jewish, muslim, baha’i and indigenous.
